How To Control Diabetes Diet.

Why do we get Diabetes and how can we manage it naturally.

It put it simply, diabetes is not a disease but a symptom of a pancreas that is not working correctly. Within our pancreas there are cells called Beta Cells that produce insulin. A normal pancreas will produce insulin continuously, raising the output in response to increases in blood sugar that happen after we eat. Our bodies were designed to live on a diet of natural foods, cereals, fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds and plenty of water and it is with this type of diet that our bodies work most efficiently. However in today’s modern world we are more likely to be eating a diet high in sugar, fat, refined carbohydrates and additives! All these types of food cause the pancreas to work hard and so produce more insulin. This in turn can cause the pancreas to become “exhausted”. All the fast absorption carbohydrates, fats and sugars that we eat produce acids which means that your pancreas has to absorb and neutralize all these excess acids caused by our modern diet. When we eat all these acid producing foods, the Beta cells can’t do their job correctly and so the pancreas can’t function properly and so diabetes can occur. Fortunately when the Beta cells stop getting bombarded by all this acid, the pancreas gets a rest and the beta cells go back to their natural function.Go to reverse diabetes

Power Food.

Eat These.

During pregnancy – at around 28 weeks or later – some women are diagnosed with gestational diabetes. A diagnosis of gestational diabetes doesn’t mean that you had diabetes before you became pregnant, or that you will have diabetes after giving birth. But it’s important to follow your doctor’s advice about blood glucose (blood sugar) levels when you’re planning your pregnancy, so you and your baby both stay healthy.
Because gestational diabetes can be harmful to you and your baby, you need medical advice sooner rather than later. Treatment for gestational diabetes tries to keep blood glucose levels equal to those of other pregnant women who don’t have gestational diabetes. Treatment for gestational diabetes usually includes special meal plans and increasing your physical activity. It may also include daily blood glucose testing and insulin injections.Your doctor, nurse, and other members of your care team will advise on your treatment for gestational diabetes so it can be changed as needed. You need to include the super foods in your diet.

Yes there are natural vegetarian diet for diabetics depending on how high their blood sugars will benefit from and how well they respond to the treatment. Traditional Type 1 Insulin dependent Diabetics will still have to take insulin since their bodies do not produce it any longer, but they can use some natural treatments and foods in addition, to improve their glycemic control. Typically the natural forms of treatment for diabetes are for those who are classified as Type 2 who are insulin resistant to one degree or another. A five percent weight loss of the total body weight can make a significant difference in the control of the high blood glucose levels. It may even make it that the Type 2 diabetic will no longer  need oral medications, insulin, or other drugs to treat the disease. Natural methods to assist in lowering blood sugar levels include lot’s of fresh vegetables and the use of real cinnamon in the diet or as a supplement, and taking the supplement chromium picolinate. The results can be dramatic with some individuals, with others seeing very little benefit at all. (Note that chromium can become toxic if too much is taken). There is anecdotal evidence that liquid chromium picolinate can work in individuals who do not respond to the pill form. And don’t be fooled by the low quality cinnamon that substitutes for the real thing. The main 2 areas prove to be activity and weight loss, each very  helpful to many Type 2 diabetics. And there is no longer the hard distinction between  Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics. There are those who are a bit of each Type. The goal is to control blood sugar levels. The diabetic doesn’t want them to be too high or too low. Control and even levels are the goal. And using whatever it takes to achieve consistent control should be considered and pursued as long as it doesn’t make anything else worse.Nature provides the fruit and vegetable foods that will help you to control the symptoms.Type 1 diabetes is a chronic, life threatening condition, in which the pancreas does not produce insulin – the hormone that regulates blood sugar levels. “trials on an artificial pancreas” which can be used to regulate blood sugar in children with Type 1 diabetes.”This is an important step forward in managing overnight blood glucose levels as well as in the eventual development of a full ‘artificial pancreas’ which could vastly improve the quality of life for people with type 1 diabetes and reduce the risk of the associated complications.”
